What is love?

Some can say its one thing, while others can say its something completely opposite. People have their own definition of love and what it is about, what must be done to find it and what must be done to keep it; but what about those who feel lost because they can't seem to find their right match?
Truth is, no one should rush into love, nor should they seek it in a desperate attempt to have someone by them.
Love will always find those who wait, find those who aren't blind to it and definitely find those who accept it. Love has no shape, no age, nor form or no true gender. Love can be found through friends, through crushes that tend to turn into more and love can also be found in family. Everyone wants some kind of love but what is done to get it, is what matters.
Love can also be near or far, the distance between two people can be seen as a test; a test to show how far two people would go to be together and what they'd do to stay together. Many say long distance always fail's but there are people who would easily say "It can work out"
Like my mother always told me "It takes two to tango"
Sadly, many believe love isn't worth it nor is it even existent. That all there is, is pain and heart break. I honestly don't blame people who don't want love. I've been there, after trying long distance and even near; only for it to fall apart made me think, love just isn't for me.
Though I try to avoid it and refuse to love again, I couldn't help but fall for someone who reminded me what it felt like to have my heart skip beats and overall, make me smile and happy.
So, what is your definition of love? What would you do to keep it?

Suicide will never solve anything

Young kids, teenagers, even adults think "suicide" solves everything.
When will people open their eyes and learn suicide is a permanent answer for a temporary problem.
Sure we have moments when we feel like all is lost but if we so easily look through that fog we can find that there is other solutions.
I know, teens go through hard times within 7 year or so of their teenage life but seriously? Its becoming ridiculous. Sure we struggle with stress, depression, balancing our lives but its really not worth killing yourself over.
Girls, especially teenagers are the ones that mostly do it over the simple things.
Get in fight with family and they suddenly think they aren't love, so they kill themselves. Lose a lover, think its all over for them KNOWING there is plenty of others out there waiting to be found but they are so blind, they decide to kill themselves. Something else bad happens and right away, suicide will solve it.
sadly, females are more likely to kill themselves rather then males, sure they tend to do it but rarely over simple things like this.
But no matter, teens, again are at higher suicide rate. They also have to struggle with being accepted into society and be accepted by both family and peers along with deal with their sexuality if they come out the closet. Its really a shame to see so many kill themselves over these things but sadly, there really is not much help someone can do. To kill themselves is their own doing, no blame can really be put onto someone else. If you help someone out of it, you are doing the world a favor but if that person still does it, it is their own fault, no one else.
I admit I've had my fair share of "I want to kill myself" moments but so easily, I'm talked out of it and reminded there is other ways to solve a problem. I also have moments where I've had to talk many out of killing themselves over simple problems, thankfully I've yet to lose a friend to it, but even so, I think teens in general need to realize, life isn't one to be taken for granted. Instead of killing ourselves over simple things, why not get over it and enjoy life? Live it to the fullest and wait for when our time really comes rather then rushing into it.

purpose of it

Life is like many things.
Like a flower that blooms as it gets older only to die eventually or it could be like clouds that slowly pass by and shade our eyes from the sun's ray. No matter what it is like, we find out purpose eventually. It may not come as quickly as others but when we find it, we are filled with a sense of knowing ourselves finally. Many choose their purpose as a path of a career, to help better others life. while others tend to stray away from good purpose and make it their life to ruin others. At one point or another, we come across people who want to help along with come across those who don't. We may also find people who remind us of clouds that slowly float on by or remind of us flowers just waiting to bloom to show what they are capable of.
Unlike many, I have found my purpose in this life.
To help others with their problems and their emotions, to keep them from hurting themselves along with others. I have found a career for such a purpose and plan on pursuing it. My purpose will always be to help others in their time in need, no matter the cost, no matter the time or day or when it is. I've always made it clear to friends and others who come across me. I honestly even have strangers at time approach me for help because they have no one else to turn to.
No matter what kind of purpose we will always find our own. Though the chance of finding someone with the same isn't rare. We should appreciate what goes on in life because it is honestly like a road, leading us to ourselves and giving us a purpose.
